Ed leads first Shropshire net session
It was great to see 38 players at Shropshire County Cricket Club’s first pre-season net of 2025 – the first run by new head Coach Ed Ashlin.
Ed, who is Cricket Shropshire’s Pathway and Coaching Manager, has taken over the role from Dave Nock.
Sunday’s session at Shrewsbury School’s Indoor Cricket Centre also doubled as an an open trial for players keen to be considered for selection this year’s Shropshire campaign.
More net sessions are planned ahead of the 2025 season, including a couple of joint U18/Senior nets in March.
