Equity, Diversity and Inclusion has been a key element of the Board’s delivery to the network since November 2020. It continues to be a key element to our training and education in Shropshire
2023 saw us deliver on three key objectives – broadening our reach and empowering ALL to come on this EDI journey with us.
Together we are stronger and positive changes are starting to be seen. Conversations are changing. Targeted and relevant development of certain areas of EDI are beginning to take place.
Having a dedicated team focused on being visible, accessible and approachable continues to be the best way for free flowing, conversational style training sessions.
Cricket Shropshire is focused on working with clubs across the county during the coming year.

The ECB’s 2025 EDI Calendar is designed to help clubs foster inclusivity across the cricket network. It highlights key priorities alongside practical ideas, case studies and examples of best practice to inspire action. It is designed to be a starting point for clubs looking to do more to create inclusive environments.
