Cricket Shropshire is a registered charity that has responsibility for Shropshire’s recreational cricket, From those picking up a bat for the first time to those with their eyes on national squads, from seasoned players and club officials to parents looking for holiday clubs or headteachers launching the ultimate team game in their school. Our aim to get more people playing cricket and being active.

Pathway success:

Our Pathway Programme has seen players including, Eve Jones, Mitchell Stanley, Dillon Pennington, Ed Barnard, Jack Shantry and Joe Clarke go on to play professionally.

Pioneers of disability cricket:

We were one of the first counties to embrace disability cricket, as far back as the 1980s.

National recognition:

We are recognised at a national level, sitting on ECB advisory groups. Our team members have achieved national recognition for their contribution to the sport.
