We are searching for high-quality applicants with a passion for cricket as well as business acumen.
The Shropshire Cricket Board is representative of cricket across the county with a small and dedicated team of Directors.
A vacancy exists for a Schools Cricket Director to be involved with and lead in the strategic direction and development of cricket in schools across Shropshire.
This vacancy is for a volunteer to become a Non-Executive Director of Shropshire Cricket Board.
Our directors operate effectively and work closely with our delivery team, reporting through a series of ‘Operational Groups’.
Shropshire Cricket Board’s main purpose is to Protect and Grow the game in the county. We are proud of our progress in recent years, which has been achieved through.

All applicants with the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience will be considered. We welcome expressions of interest from people from all sections of the community. We are committed to ensuring there is a diversity of thought and experience across our Board.
We welcome applications from those with previous Board experience as well as those for whom this may be their first venture into this type of role.
Whilst a passion for (or previous experience of) cricket would be beneficial, we are also keen to hear from people who have the energy and enthusiasm to enhance the impact of sport and charity activities in general; and who are able to offer their time and expertise.
Applications are also welcomed from anyone who is NOT an official, committee or Board member of any cricket organisation in Shropshire.

All applicants will be interviewed by an Independent Nominations Panel which will make recommendations to a forthcoming Shropshire Cricket Board AGM.
