Women’s and Girls’ Softball Festivals
A series of both Women and Girls Softball Cricket Festivals will take place at venues across Shropshire this Summer.
Softball Cricket Festivals have proved extremely popular in recent years – giving an ideal introduction to the game for women and girls.
This Sunday sees the first of the Girls’ Softball Festivals taking place at Allscott Heath CC.
The festivals are open to girls of all ages and you can either enter as a club team or as ab individual player and Cricket Shropshire will look to form a Renegades team on the day.
This Sunday also sees the next Women’s Softball Festivals taking place with events at both Willey CC and Pontesbury CC.
Further dates for the Girls Softball Festivals this Summer are:
- June 23 @ Whittington CC
- July 7 @ Frankwell CC in Shrewsbury
- August 11 @ Newport CC
- September 1 sees the ECB competition @Wellington CC

- June 30 @ Bomere Heath CC
- July 14 hosted by Wrekin Wreckers @ Wroxeter & Uppington CC and also at Whittington CC
- July 28 @ Lilleshall CC
- August 11 @ Shrewsbury CC and @Whitchurch CC
- September 8 @Albrighton CC
