Two clubs Catch the Women’s World Cup Spirit
Two Shropshire clubs are planning Catch the Spirit parties as part of the celebrations to coincide with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
The tournament kicks off this Friday with England taking on Sri Lanka at Edgbaston with a feast of cricket at venues across the country in the coming month.
Whittington are looking to host a party on the afternoon of the final – July 5 – as they have a home game in the morning.
And Allscott Heath will be hosting a party on Thursday, July 2 – the day of the second semi-final. And they are hoping that England win their group so they will be playing in that game.
