Safe Hands workshop planned in October
Cricket Shropshire is running a Safe Hands workshop for club Safeguarding Officers in October.
It is an ideal opportunity for those looking ahead to the 2027 season and thinking or planning to become one if their club’s Safeguarding Officer.
It is also suitable for anyone who needs to update their Safeguarding qualification for the 2027 season – Safeguarding Officers need to do this every three years.
All Club Safeguarding Officers need to attend this workshop and also take the ECB’s online Safeguarding Level 2 course.
It is taking place on Wednesday, October 28, from 6pm in the Cricket Pavilion at Wrekin College.
Club Safeguarding Officers are vital members of their club and key to making an environment safe, welcoming and friendly for everyone to enjoy the game of cricket.
The cost is £30 per person, if there is a second person from the club attending they pay £15.
