Lilleshall inflicted the first defeat of the season on Codsall in Division Two of the Furrows East Shropshire Mid-Week League.
In a game restricted to 12 overs a side due to the weather, visitors Codsall were bowled out for 98 with Taha Munawar hitting 30 and Prab Singh 26 off 14 balls.
Kenny Fudge was the pick of the Lilleshall bowlers claiming 3-10 from two overs, while Steve Boney took 3-27 and Mark Binfield 2-10.
A spectacular knock from Aaron Nicholls led the charge for Lilleshall in the reply as he hit 51 off just 15 balls before he retired.
Munawar caused some scares claiming 3-6 from his two overs, and Karandeep Singh Aulakh claimed 2-23.
But with Steve Boney hitting his only ball for six and skipper Adam Binfield keeping his cool in the last over, Lilleshall won the game with three balls to spare.
It was an evening for the bowlers as Broseley travelled to Newport – with the hosts claiming the victory by two wickets.
Batting first, Broseley were bowled out for 92 with an over to go in their innings with Warren Firmstone top scoring with 18.
Oliver Wilson claimed 2-12 from his four overs, Sam Crawford 2-11 and Pankaj Shah 2-10 for the Fishes.
Swapnil Mundra hit 35 off 29 balls at the top of the order for Newport, but the rest of the batting line up struggled against the Broseley bowling attack with Alfie Oakes claiming 2-13, Brandon Platt 2-13 and Chris Lloyd 2-23.
But Newport eventually reached their victory target in the 18th over.
Games in Division One were also affected by the weather, but St Georges managed to complete a six-wicket victory over visitors Forton.
Batting first, Forton were bowled out off the final ball of their innings for 134 with Joe Roberts hitting an unbeaten half century, Sam Gill 26 and Louis Hancock 21.
KasJuan Sullivan was the pick of the home attack claiming 3-19, with Raja Janga and Ibrar Ahmed taking two wickets apiece.
At 8-2 in reply, the game looked in the balance, but Nazir Mooman hit an unbeaten 39 and Sullivan smashed 48 off just 21 balls as they claimed the win. Charlie Sykes picked up two wickets for Forton.

Shrewsbury School Under 18s edged into to their national T20 Cup final after a nail-biting two wicket win against Scarborough College with just one ball to spare.
Hosting the semi-final, the visitors batted first and after an early loss batted well to score 186-4 from their 20 overs with opener Howson hitting 104 off just 59 balls
A superb double wicket last over from Liam Grindlay (2-13) kept Scarborough below the 200 mark which they seemed certain to reach for most of their innings.
Shrewsbury’s other wicket takers were Liam Yahathugoda and Harry Parton.
Shrewsbury’s reply was hampered by the regular loss of wickets which left them in a precarious position at 97-5.
However, a superb 62 off 37 deliveries by Shifnal’s Harry Parton batting at No 4 saw the hosts home with just one ball and 2 wickets to spare.
Parton received good support from opener Yahathugoda (39 off 26 balls), George Battersby (17off 8) and Arjan Barard (19 not out off 12).
Shrewsbury now play Kings Taunton in the final at Wormsley tomorrow (Friday, July3).
They qualified for the semi-final by beating Uppingham School in the quarter-final.
Batting first at home, they posted an impressive 192-6 with Liam Grindlay (42), Parton (35), Jack Hollinshead (48 not out off 27) and Arjan Barard 25 not out the main contributors.
The latter pair put on a crucial 50 run partnership for the seventh wicket in the last five overs of the innings.
Uppingham replied with 171-7 – 22 runs short of their target. Grindlay (3-12) and Under 15 Bryam Mudalige (2-31) were Shrewsbury’s most successful bowlers.
