EBC Umpire Development Courses 2026
This course is ideally for those umpires that have completed the ECB Umpire Course or previous ECB ACO L1. The candidates will be expected to have had some previous umpiring experience.
Course Content
The course will build upon the candidate’s previous umpiring education and umpiring experiences. The course will feature workshops with candidates sharing experiences and best practice supported by the ECB Umpire Tutor.
The course will assist those looking to develop their skills and knowledge to progress on the Umpire Pathway and equip them for the Shropshire Umpire Panel.
Over the two evening sessions the course will cover
- Pre-game and in-game management
- Dismissals
- Scoring runs
- Dead ball
- Unfair actions (Law 41)
- Managing player conduct (Law 42)
- Player safety
Location
Sports Hall Classroom – Wrekin College
21st October & 4th November (attendance is required at both sessions)
6pm-9pm

£10 for both sessions

Cancellation Terms:
• Cancellation within one week of the event will result in 100% of the total fee being payable.
• Cancellations made more than one week before the event will be eligible for a full refund minus £5 admin charge.
