Safeguarding: Statement of Intent

At Cricket Shropshire, safeguarding is central to all our activity. We are committed to ensuring everyone involved in cricket is protected from all forms of abuse, harm and exploitation. 

Cricket Shropshire is signed up to the ECB kitbag. We have a range of policies procedures and guidance in place. These documents are written using policy template and guidance from the ECB kitbag (see link below), we also follow good practice guidance and seek professional support as appropriate to ensure these documents are robust and relevant. Cricket Shropshire agrees to abide by the ECB Safe Hands Policy.

Policies are available via our website or distributed as appropriate. 

Policies are reviewed by the safeguarding board league  as appropriate, for example as directed by the EBC or by Cricket Shropshire lead officer.
