Harry is Volunteer of the Month for May
Our Volunteer of the Month for May is Harry Bolland from Bomere Heath Cricket Club – and you can still nominate someone for our June award.
But hurry, there are only a few days left in the month!
Each month we are looking for nominations for the award which recognises incredible volunteers out there who work hard to ensure clubs across the county promote the game and ensure people of all ages can play in a safe and friendly environment.
We want to highlight the significant contributions of these people – without whom the recreational game would struggle to function as effectively as it does.
In the nomination for Harry, it says: “We would like to nominate Harry in recognition of his exceptional dedication, hard work, and commitment.
“Through his countless hours of volunteering, organising events, maintaining and improving club facilities, supporting members, and working tirelessly behind the scenes, he has made an outstanding contribution.
“His enthusiasm, generosity, and willingness to go above and beyond help make everything possible and are greatly appreciated by everyone.”
The June winner will be chosen by Directors of the Cricket Shropshire Board and will receive a framed certificate early next month.
