Prestfelde third at regional finals
Prestfelde School represented Shropshire at the West Midlands Under 11 Regional Hardball finals held at Shrewsbury School and finished a creditable third.
They qualified for the finals as Shropshire champions.
Winners on the day were Blue Coat School from Warwickshire coached by former Shropshire wicket-keeper bat Simon Gregory with RGS Worcester runners-up.
A young and relatively inexperienced Prestfede team performed well on the day – with Billy Anders taking three wickets in an over in one of the games.
