Ellesmere girls claim indoor titles
Congratulations to Ellesmere College U13 & U15 Girls who claimed their respective indoor titles in competitions at Wrekin College.
Both will now go forward to represent Shropshire in the regional indoor finals at Edgbaston next month
Finalists for the Under 13 Girls Indoor Competition were:
- Shrewsbury High
- Ellesmere College
- Moreton Hall
- Bridgnorth Endowed
- Newport Girls
Finalists for the Under 15 Girls Indoor Competition were:
- Shrewsbury High
- Ellesmere College
- Moreton Hall
- Ercall Wood
- Newport Girls
The finals were played on a round robin basis – and both exciting competitions came down to the last group match between Ellesmere College and Newport Girls High to decide the winners.
In both games, Ellesmere came out on top after two very competitive and close contests.
Competition organiser Darrell Corfield said: “Well done to all who took part and congratulations to Ellesmere on their success. Good luck representing Shropshire in the regional finals.”
