With four hubs around the county providing an introduction to the sport with active and inclusive sessions for those ages 12-25
The Community Cricket Hubs give the participants the coaching and competition against their peers and experience the benefits of playing sport.
These sessions helps the young people to realise their potential on and off the pitch, improving physical & mental well being to combat loneliness.
Hardball Disability Cricket
D40
Played with a conventional pink hard ball. This competition includes players with learning disability, physical disability or hearing loss. This is open to people aged 16+, both men and women.
The D40 could then open opportunities to progress from county cricket into the Disability Premier League, where they compete at a higher level, where then they would be considered for England Disability Cricket Squads.
The season runs May – July, with matches taking place on Sundays at venues across the country.
