Disability County Cricket

Disability County Cricket

There are two County squads for Disability players: Super 9s and D40.

Super 9s is soft ball, entry level format cricket, with flexible options to alter the format to suit the competing teams on the day.

As well as regional competitions, Super 9s offer development festivals for new and emerging county teams.

There are many benefits to the players when competing in Super 9s activity including: improved self-esteem, inclusion, improved self–confidence and a sense of belonging.

D40 is played with a conventional pink hard ball. This competition includes layers with learning disability, physical disability or hearing loss.

The D40 then feeds into the Disability Premier League.
