Introduction to Umpiring course
The date has been set for an Introduction to Umpiring course for those in Shropshire thinking of becoming qualified ahead of the 2027 season.
It will be the first of a number of courses organised by the Shropshire Association of Cricket Officials (SACO) and Cricket Shropshire.
The course will take place at Shrewsbury High School, 32 Town Walls, Shrewsbury. SY1 1TN, on November 8, from 9am-4pm.
The cost is £70 payable before the event.
Looking ahead, there will be a Women & Girls only course next year on Sunday, March 21, full details to follow.
SACO is also planning to run an Open Session for umpires on March 7, again further details to follow.
There will also be two ECB Progression courses (classroom only) at Wrekin College on Wednesdays November 4 and 1 from 6-9pm, costs to be confirmed.
