Coaching courses arranged for Autumn/Winter
Cricket Shropshire is pleased to confirm the schedule for ECB Coach Education courses for Autumn/Winter 2026/2027.
We will be running three ECB Foundation Courses and one ECB Core Coach during this period.

ECB Foundation Coach – Packwood School, Shrewsbury, Sunday 1st and Sunday 8th November.
ECB Core Coach – Ercall Wood School (Wellington), Sunday 24th January, Sunday 31st January, Sunday 7th February & Sunday 14th February.
Assessment Day for this course is Sunday 21st March (the assessment day is now separated from the face-to-face modules).
There are some changes to the ECB Core Coach which are outlined in the infographics below.
ECB Foundation Coach – Ercall Wood School (Wellington), Sunday 4th April and Sunday 11th April.
ECB Foundation Coach (Female only) – Bomere Heath CC, Sunday 18th and Sunday 25th April.
Cost is £200 for ECB Foundation Coach and £400 for ECB Core Coach.

Candidates should be available to attend all the course days/dates – for Foundation and Core the course days are typically 9.30am-4.30pm.

Cricket Shropshire is also looking to schedule some ECB Support Coach Courses in the Spring/early Summer. Please contact us if you have interested candidates at your club, we are able to run these at clubs outdoors.This course is three hours in length and qualifies individuals to assist/support a qualified coach. The cost of this course is £50.
