D40 squad Winter net sessions arranged

Shropshire’s Disability D40 squad step up their preparations for the 2026 season with a series of Winter nets. 

The sessions which will be held at Haberdashers Adams Grammar in Newport on Sunday mornings are free to attend. 

They are open to anyone who is interested in playing for Shropshire’s D40 side this Summer in matches against other county sides from around the country. 

Games are usually played on a Sunday and are 40 overs-a-side played with a hardball and follow the same laws and regulations and traditional county cricket. 

The five 5 indoor sessions at Newport  will run from 9.30-11.30am on the following dates. 

• 1^st March 

• 8^th March 

• 15^th March 

• 22^nd March 

• 29^th March
