Vanessa joins team as Cricket Development Administrator
Vanessa Russell is looking forward to getting to grips with her new role as the Board’s Cricket Development Administrator.
She brings with her a wealth of experience in education, safeguarding, marketing and most administration systems, including AI.
She has previously worked at the Shrewsbury Colleges Group, Lawley Primary School, Telford FM and Blackburn Rovers.
Cricket Shropshire Lead Officer Steve Reese said: “Vanessa will be playing a crucial role in supporting all areas of the Board’s operations, particularly in the first instance Safeguarding, as we approach the start of the season and with all of the challenges we have with ECB systems.
“We are looking forward to the fresh perspectives and innovations that she will bring.
“We believe that with her expertise and our collaborative spirit, we will continue to achieve our goals and beyond.”
Vanessa said: “I am delighted to join the team as Cricket Development Administrator, where I will be assisting the growth of the game by delivering smooth administration in all areas.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the success and development of the game across the county through strong support and a wealth of experience to enhance this exciting cricket community.”
