Watering and drought management advice from GMA
With Severn Trent officially announcing a drought this week due to the hot weather, here’s a reminder of the Grounds Management Association’s advice.
Although Severn Trent has not issued a hose pipe ban at the moment, it is urging people to be careful with their water use and avoid waste

GMA Regional Pitch Advisor Andy Welsby said: “Within the section is advice on how to water effectively and efficiently, the rules around using water to prepare pitches when restrictions are brought in, and a section on working safely in hot and sunny conditions.”
