Regional meetings ahead of 2026 season
A series of regional meetings for clubs in the Shropshire County Cricket League will be staged ahead of the 2026 season.
These meetings have been arranged by the Shropshire Association of Cricket Officials in conjunction with the league and Cricket Shropshire.
Three of the meetings will be for umpires and scorers from lower division clubs in the league to explain rule changes and plans for the 2026 season.
There will also be a Safeguarding presentation from Cricket Shropshire during the evening. These meetings, which will start at 7pm, are:
- MARCH 17th Oswestry CC – Lower Division Umpires, Captains, scorers
- MARCH 19th Shifnal CC – Lower Division Umpires, Captains, Scorers
- APRIL 8th Church Stretton CC – Lower Division Umpires, Captains, Scorers
Another meeting has been arranged for Premier and Division One captains where SACO will once again outline rule changes and their impact on the game and the Board will again give a Safeguarding presentation.

The League’s Captain’s Meeting ahead of the start of the season is on April 14, and the Board will be giving an EDI presentation during the evening
