Get Set Weekend 2026
Cricket clubs in Shropshire can now register for this year’s ECB Get Set Weekend with the chance to win prizes and get access to resources to help them make the event a success.
#GetSetWeekend 2025, powered by Toyota UK was record-breaking with 1,700 cricket clubs and 37,000 volunteers.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2026.
The ECB said:”Every year, Get Set Weekend kickstarts the season for clubs across England and Wales.
“It’s the perfect chance to prepare grounds, refresh facilities and get everything in place for the season ahead.
“But at its heart, the weekend is about celebrating the volunteers whose energy and commitment keep cricket thriving – from coaching juniors and preparing pitches to organising fixtures and running clubhouses. The people who make the game happen. “
All clubs who register before 23:59 on Sunday 1 March 2026 can opt into a prize draw to win a range of exciting prizes.
Winning clubs will receive Jewson vouchers and match tickets for club members, alongside signed England Cricket bats and The Hundred merchandise to support club fundraising.
The first 1,000 clubs to register will also receive either a Get Set Weekend branded bucket hat or whiteboard.
In addition to the above prizes, all registered clubs will receive access to:
- A Get Set Weekend 2026 digital brochure packed with ideas, checklists and inspiration
- A suite of digital marketing assets to help promote your event
- Posters, images, and templates via the ECB Resource Hub
- A series of online webinars to help volunteers plan and deliver a successful weekend
