Finn Jones hit a brilliant unbeaten 159 and Morgan Ward 122 for Shropshire’s Under 16 Boys when they hosted Oxfordshire at Oswestry CC.

Batting first, the boys were 54-3 when the pair came together, with opener Arjun Cherukuri having chipped in with in with 32.
But Dyson (64 from 62 balls) and Evans (51) set the platform for the final total of 236-9 from 50 overs with Matt Morris adding an unbeaten 38 down the order.
The hosts were then bowled out for 195 with the wickets spread around, Morris, Dyson, George Davies and Ralph Cornwell all picking up two-apiece.

Avijoy Ganguly was the pick of the Shropshire attack with 3-39 from his nine overs, while William Reece picked up 2-26.
After losing an early wicket, Fin Bradbury (21) and Harry Dillon (41) steadied the ship with a 68-run partnership, but once they were both dismissed, the rest of the batting fell away and Shropshire were bowled out for 110.
They found themselves under the cosh when they travelled to Challow and Childrey CC to take on Oxfordshire as the hosts racked up 311-6 from their 45 overs, Harry Dillon and Jake Adams picking up two wickets each.
Harry Harrison (31), Bobby Langton (34) and Dillon (27) all got starts in the reply, but Shropshire were bowled out for 154.

It did not prove enough though as the visitors reached their victory target without losing a wicket.
