Cricket Pitch Maintenance seminar in Shropshire
A Cricket Pitch Maintenance Seminar is being held at Prees Cricket & Recreation Ground next Wednesday, September 3, from 5.30pm.
It has been arranged the Howardson Group which includes equipment suppliers Dennis and SISIS and supported by Cricket Shropshire.
The programme for the evening includes and update from Cricket Shropshire Lead Officer Steve Reese and a talk on End of Season Renovations from Stuart Yarwood from DLP.
There will also be a equipment demonstration, a talk on mower maintenance and a look at what funding support is available.
Steve said: “This will be a good opportunity for clubs and their ground staff to get together to discuss issues around ground maintenance, especially after the dry Summer we have had and with end of season renovations fast approaching.”
Activities on the evening will be subject to change depending on the weather.
