It’s a big welcome to Naomi Payne, no stranger to Shropshire cricket, who has joined the Board as a Cricket Development Coach with focus on supporting the growth of the Women and Girls’ game.
New Cricket Development Coach Shannon Aston brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Board in a variety of sports.
Three coaches received awards at the annual Presentation Night at the Albright Hussey Hotel – with former Worcestershire seamer Paul Pridgeon receiving an award for his outstanding contribution to the game.
Cricket Shropshire will be running additional Autumn/Winter coaching sessions across the County aimed at further developing the skills of young cricketers (boys and girls).
Cricket Shropshire is looking to help promote cricket camps at clubs across the county this Summer.
The second week of the Easter holidays saw outdoor sessions for all Cricket Shropshire’s Boys and Girls Player Pathway groups.
