Club Safeguarding Officers meeting
Cricket Shropshire is hosting a meeting for Club Safeguarding Officers on Wednesday, September 10, at Wrekin College Cricket Pavilion in Wellington, Telford.
It will start at 6.30pm.
County Safeguarding Officer Sheila Dickie said: “It will be an opportunity to discuss how the season has gone (so far), raise any concerns Safeguarding Officers may have or to share best practice when things have gone well.
“We will also be discussing DBS renewal process, listening to children and any safe hands or safeguarding queries you may have.
“It is also a valuable networking opportunity and to chat through any issues with other Club Safeguarding Officers.
“If there is anything in particular, you would like to discuss please contact me and I will add it to the agenda.”

A Safe Hands for Club Safeguarding Officer course will be held in the next few weeks. This is suitable for new CSOs or anyone that needs to renew their certificate.
