U15s Dave Vart Memorial Finals Day postponed
This Sunday’s (Sep 8) Under 15s Dave Vart Memorial Finals Day has been postponed and all now take place early next season.
Cricket Shropshire Community Officer Maisie Rushton said: “This is a decision we have not taken lightly but after having conversations with Oswestry CC grounds staff and the current condition of the surface, it will not be possible to play the fixtures.”
The weather forecast for Sunday is not good either.
Maisie added: “We will plan the finals day to carry over to the start of next season as weekends are still packed with activity well in to September.
“Players that are eligible this season will also be eligible to play in the Finals Day next year.”
