Grounds Workshop spaces still available

This year’s pre-season Grounds Workshop organised by Cricket Shropshire in association with the Grounds Management Association is on Friday, April 4 at Allscott Heath Sports Club.
Activities will run from 10am-2pm on the day with contributions from Agrovista, SIS Turf Care and Cobra Mowers.
We will also be joined by Shropshire-based machinery supplier Jim Clarke Fine Turf Machinery, Andy Welsby from the Grounds Management Association and our County Pitch Advisors.
Refreshments will also be available during the day.
Cricket Shropshire Lead Officer Steve Reese said: “We have been holding our Grounds Workshop days for a number of years now and they always prove popular.
“It gives the volunteers who look after our grounds from around the county the chance to get together and discuss best practice and hear about some of the latest ideas and innovations.
“This year there will also be a demonstration by Jim Clarke of a low-cost option Cobra Fortis battery mower and its attachments manufactured by Henton and Chattell.”
